 Anna was desperate for a ride of her own.

Life at Home

 The corner with all the books is Anna's favorite spot lately. She loves to pull ALL the books off of the shelf.

Gracie loves talking on the phone now! I called one day from school (on my break) to chat. Here is Gracie's side of the conversation.

IKEA

 We had to go to Grenoble (about an hour's train ride from us) for our residency permit this week. Getting there involved a bus ride to the train station, a train to Grenoble, a tram then a bus to the immigration office. After we were through with the official visit, we celebrated by going to IKEA for lunch and to look around.

This IKEA looked right out to the Alps...probably the prettiest view of any IKEA we know of!

There was even a play area that Gracie enjoyed playing in.

Chatter Box

Gracie LOVES to talk! Sometimes we just have to laugh. We sure love our Gracie girl!

One of my teachers asked if I (Jamie) listen to music often. I explained that I have a little girl who likes to talk a lot and that I don't usually need much extra noise! And I LOVE the silence of nap time. Not much music for me in this stage of life!

Valentine's Day Cookies

 We got a Valentine's Day package today from Grandma. Gracie was most excited about the red hots and sprinkles (and Justin was excited about the most recent issues of Flying Magazine).

 Gracie had fun decorating (and nibbling).

 And her favorite part was licking out the frosting bowl.

 Both our girls love to eat ice! After we chip ice accumulations out of the freezer, it is a treat for them to enjoy the product!

It's almost like eating snow.

Virtual Tea Party

McDonald's

Yes, there is McDonald's here in France. We went for the first time today and had a ton of fun. Gracie was SO happy, the sun was shining & we didn't have to wear our "puffy" jackets (as Gracie likes to say)! It was a good day :).

 If you look closely you can see Anna's first tooth!

 Yes, we take our stroller almost everywhere because we walk almost everywhere. On warm days like today we absolutely love all the time outside!

Clean Girls in Jammies

I don't think there is anything cuter than freshly bathed girls in jammies. Oh wait, there is! Freshly bathed girls in MATCHING jammies!
