Our apartment is on the 2nd floor. This picture is looking towards our balcony (you can see the 3rd and 4th floor balconies right above ours). Our bedroom windows are on the side of the building.

The "Chateau de Boigne" which is where our language school is at. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from our apartment. 
The fall color is beautiful to us.

Thanks for the pictures of your neighborhood. That really helps in getting a feel for your environment. Makes me want to visit Europe again. You'd find similar scenes in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. 'Bout the only thing that changes is the language on the signs.
