first hair clip

Gracie is wearing a hair clip for the first time today! Her hair is really fuzzy right now and likes to stick straight up. I'm loving all the fun stages of her development and growth! I know that all too soon she won't be a baby anymore, so I'm trying to soak up each moment.

Gracie has a special "blankie" now. It's her burp cloth! She has become attached, but she goes to sleep like a dream with it . . . so I'm happy! And she looks so sweet all cuddled up in her bed with it. She loves to have it right up by her face. And, yes, I make sure she sleeps with a clean burp cloth!

Right as I got out the camera this morning I realized that Gracie had spit up all over the shirt I had JUST put on her! Keeping a baby full, dry and clean is quite the job :).

New Boots

Gracie got some new winter boots from her Aunt Jackie! She has quite the wardrobe.

This toy is one of Gracie's favorites these days. She loves to be up and looking around. I can't believe my baby is going to be 5 months this week! Where does the time go??

Birthday Date

On Saturday we took a picnic down to Laguna Beach for a date to celebrate Justin's birthday. The Lord blessed us with an amazing sunset! We're continually amazed at His beautiful creation.

Thankful for friends

We are so thankful for the great friends the Lord has blessed us with. I'm especially thankful for friends with kiddos that I can hang out with and learn from. Gracie had a play date on Friday with two of her little friends, Laura and Megan (I'm great friends with Kim and Katie, their mommies)! As Gracie grows up I pray that the Lord will give her sweet friends who she can laugh and cry with and who will encourage her to run hard after Him.

Our Little Ballerina

We dressed Grace up as a ballerina to take her to the Harvest Party at our church last night. What can I say . . . she was adorable!

Gracie with her Aunt Jackie who made (yeah, she's amazing!) Gracie her costume!
