time with daddy

Gracie got to spend extra time with daddy this past weekend as I went away on a women's retreat with some ladies from our church. Justin did a GREAT job taking care of Gracie while I was gone! Thanks, Babe! I love you. You're the best.

I had a really refreshing weekend, and it looks to me like Justin and Gracie had a lot of fun too!

9 months and a new look

Gracie had her 9 month check up early last week! She's growing and doing well. Here are her stats:
19 lbs. 8 oz. (60th percentile)
29 inches long (95th percentile)
The doctor did find that she had an ear infection, so we're finishing up her first round of antibiotics. But even with not feeling well, we managed to find something new to do with her hair! It is getting so long.

I want to go crawl!

How could you not love this sweet face?!

As you can see, Gracie still has the hair sticking up in the back! Too cute.
At 9 months Gracie loves: reading, her blankie and paci (still!), crawling everywhere, clapping, pulling herself up on the furniture, playing with anyone who will give her attention, eating real food and chewing on our keys!
We love our sweet girl and we are really enjoying this fun stage! She has the best little personality!

Pat The Bunny

Gracie's current obsession right is reading her books! Her favorite is Pat The Bunny. This is an old book, but she just loves it. Gracie loves books any time of the day. And sometimes she'll even let us read her the words!

mountains and on the move

We were in the mountains this weekend with Justin's parents. Gracie enjoyed extra time with daddy.

I had the great idea of giving Gracie a bath in the bathroom sink while we were away this weekend. She was a good sport, but I don't think we'll try that one again!

Cheerios are great entertainment these days.

And Gracie is on the move . . .

. . . push ups and all.
