Visit to the doctor

Our little Anna was not feeling well last week and started to run a really high fever, so we took her to the doctor on Friday. We were nervous about how things would go because our French is so limited, but the Lord provided just what we needed (a friend to give us some key words to use and a doctor who knew a little English!). Doctor's offices here in France are VERY different than in the States. We had a little difficulty finding the office, so were thankful we arrived a little early. The office we went to was just an apartment in a large apartment building. One room was a waiting area. The other room was where the doctor saw us. The doctor does everything. She makes appointments, brings you to the room, does the exam and takes your payment. A one man/woman show. While our experience was very different than what we would have experienced in the US, we felt like we could trust the doctor and she was able to get us the medication that we needed for Anna! God's care for us is so perfect.

Sick Anna in the stroller after walking home from the doctor.

So snuggly when she is sick.

And MUCH happier the next morning!
*A little disclaimer. I know that a picture is worth a million words, but we decided not to take pictures of the doctor's office. Just think what you would think of someone who was taking pictures in your doctor's office while you waited in the waiting room. Since we will probably be seeing this doctor again, we decided we'd rather not make that impression!
